When the Medigap plans are being reviewed to see which one fits your situation the most you must be able to compare one plan to the next. In most instances with Medigap plans you are getting one plan that matches the one before it but it then adds another coverage to make it more comprehensive. This is not the case with Medigap Plan D as it actually virtually mirrors Plan C, but takes away one option that Plan C covers.
Medigap Plan C offers help with your Medicare Part B Deductible and Medigap Plan D does not offer this same coverage option. Instead you get everything that is included in Plan C except for this deductible assistance on Medicare Part B. If Medicare Part B is a concern for you and you think you will need help with that deductible you should not consider getting Medigap Plan D.
All of the other coverage options are there for you in Medigap Plan D just as they are in Medigap Plan C.
