When you start considering different Medigap plans that could suit your needs you have to consider what extra help you get with your plan. Remember that these plans are to supplement the Medicare plans that you already have so you may want to see what looks like it could use some extra help. The plans go from the most basic (Plan A) to the much more complex and comprehensive (Plan N).

As you go from one plan to the next you should know that the plans tend to grow on each other from one plan to the next. For instance, Medigap Plan B has everything that Plan A has plus a little more. The same goes for Medigap Plan C as it has everything that is in Plan B plus a little bit more to help you get through the issues you need help with.

In addition to help with the Medicare Part A deductible you get help with the Part B deductible as well. In addition you get some coverage for Foreign Travel emergencies up to your plan limits, meaning if you are a traveler you get some help with your bills.
