The events usually have several types of screenings available for seniors including blood pressure checks, blood sugar testing, and cholesterol checks.
Various health care organizations are usually on hand to answer questions. The organizations also include home health care. There is also information available about assistance to seniors with nutrition programs, assistance with prescriptions and assistance with the Senior State Health Insurance Assistance Program which helps with Medicaid, Medicare, Medicare Supplements and SSI, health insurance and long term care.
