Medigap, as this article points out, has twelve different plans, and does not cover for everything. And Medigap is the gap insurance to take care of those things not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. If you think it’s difficult to keep track of all these plans and names and benefits, try redeeming them when the time comes. We all know the trials and tribulations involved with obtaining quality health care. We are faced with sky high premiums that match or exceed our paychecks and when the time comes for some health treatment, we usually wait until the problem has become one of critical mass just to avoid the red tape and hassle of using the problematic system. The AARP adresses this situation. They have devised a website called: http://www.thisissoridiculous.com where we can glean information and sign a petition in order to make our voices heard. I know about this because I am working for the AARP on their behalf. Let’s all take part in the solution to the health care crisis.
