This means someone is doing a good job at controlling costs unless they are cutting corners with good health care. My understanding is that Doctors determine care, not Advantage Plan providers, so this should not be an issue. If there are excess profits then plan benefits should become richer, which appears to be the case. Ie. Dental benefits being added and zero premium plans, etc. I for one am not against profits, especially if I am receiving a valuable product or service. This is a great thing in these days of outrageously expensive healthcare. I would think we would all be happy that any type of plan is costing less than expected.
