Medigap Plan N, like its predecessor Plan M, are the only options for Medigap plans that do not offer assistance with the first three pints of blood. However, unlike Plan M, Plan N does offer full assistance with the Medicare Part A Deductible, which is good news if you plan to use Part A regularly. Still no coverage is available for the Medicare Part B Deductible or Excess Charges, which is similar to Plan M.

Medigap Plan M again changes things up on us by making some coverage options unavailable and others available, and offering only a percentage of help with one option. Instead of getting full assistance with the Medicare Part A Deductible as some of the plans offer, Plan M only offers 50% assistance with this. This is better than Plan A that does not offer any assistance but is less than every other Medigap Plan except for Plan K that offers only 50% as well.

When the Medigap plans are being reviewed to see which one fits your situation the most you must be able to compare one plan to the next. In most instances with Medigap plans you are getting one plan that matches the one before it but it then adds another coverage to make it more comprehensive.
